- Scope and ContentAbstract of conveyance examined with original 20/12/1962 Conveyance of James Clapham Farmborough to Oliver John Farmborough (1) James Clapham Farmborough of Budge House, Fenny Stratford, Bletchley (2) Oliver John Farmborough of Southville, Icknield Street, Dunstable. 1 to 2) Consideration £500 Dwellinghouse (formerly two cottages) with the garden and premises thereto belonging and known as South Place at the south end of Icknield Street in the Borough of Dunstable, bounded on the north east side by Bullpond Lane, on the south east side by the Whiting Works, on the south west by an occupation road and on the north west by Icknield Street. The same premises were latterly in the occupation of (2) and known as Southville, Icknield Street. Recites: The will of Charles Griffes Farmborough of Icknield Street, Dunstable, bequeathing the use and enjoyment of all of his freehold property to his wife Marian upon his death. Testator died 1st August 1920, his widow inheriting the property until her death on 23rd August 1923, upon which the estate was inherited by their five sons. Executors of the estate: Frank Herbert Farmbourgh and James Clapham Farmborough (1), sons of the testator . Sale of property for the benefit of the estate was agreed between the vendor (1) and the purchaser (2).
