A letter sent to The Clerk of the Peace at Shire Hall Bedford from D L Heath of the Treasury Chambers; informing that the Lords Commissioners of His Majest's Treasury are pleased to remit the fine of £2 imposed upon George Childs for failing to appear as a witmess at a Coroners Inquest and that they have authorised his release from prison so far as relates to his imprisonment for non-payment of the same.
