'Fun while it lasted'. Had long letter which will answer systematically. Cough better. No more socks washed. Alec Roberts, Ampthill contemporary had 7 days leave after first 6 weeks. We didn't think he was in the Navy. Ken Mobbs, Ampthill News editor 'Daddy N.' Thomas Newcomen of The Red House, Church Street - very kind to me at this time. Has made a new friend.
