    Feoffment between William Clark of Ampthill (in the coy of Bedford Draper) and the following parties: (i) Thomas Evans of Ampthil (Land-surveyor) (ii) Thomas Axam of Ampthill (gardener) (iii) Charles Austin of Ampthill (schoolmaster) Thomas Axam paid £104 to William Clark. Charles Austin paid 10 shillings to William Clark at the request of Thomas Axam. The property is on Dunstable Street, Ampthill, and also in Ampthill Warren. Land surrounding the land concerned in the feoffment is owned by John Morris, William Wilson, Ebenezer Handscomb and Charles Austin. Term of 1000 years. Mortgage for securing done by Thomas Allen of Millbrook. Dated: 5th September 1808 Includes the Covenant for the production of deeds: October 1725 - Indentures of lease and release between Robert Farnell, William Cartwright, William Cartwright the younger and Ann Cartwright. 1753 - Indentures of lease between Richard and Ann Farnell and Charles Farnell. January 1792 - Indentures of lease and release between Charles Farnell, Thomas Gostelow and Samuel Davis the younger. December 1792 - Indentures of lease between William Shenstone, Thomas Gostelow and Samuel Davis the younger. October 1794 - Indentures of lease and release between William and Hannah Shenstone and James Marriott. 1804 - Indenture of feoffment between James and Martha Marriott, William Clark and Thomas Evans. 12th September 1813: Ann and Thomas Allen sign to confirm that Thomas Axam had paid the required money.
