This is to certify that at the General Sessions of the Delivery of the Goal of the County of Surrey holden at Guildford the said County on Saturday 7th of December 1901. Was convicted for unlawfully obtaining from Alice Charles two shillings and sixpence by means of false pretences with the intent to cheat and defraud at Weybridge on 14th November 1901 He the said Alfred Cecil Morton having been previously convicted of misdemeanour. For this offence he was imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the space of fifteen calendar months.
