    1) Levi Croson of Ampthill, carrierr. 2) George Rushbrooke of Ampthill, draper. Recites: - indenture of 20 June 1857 between Elizabeth Rogers, Joseph Gutteridge and Richard Barton and Levi Croson. - Levi Croson has contracted to sell to George Rushbrooke. Consideration £425. 1) conveys to 2) All that messuage or tenement in Ampthill (now better known and described as All that messuage or tenement part of a shop yard and permises) erected and built by one William Hickman upon the site of a messuage formerly in the tenure or occupation of Sarah Fookes and afterwards of Laurence Humberstone and which said erected messuage was formerly in the occupation of Walter Borlase afterwards of John Morris the younger since of Thomas Brace Stone then of Mary Stone his widow since of the said John Rogers deceased late of Joseph Mead Rogers and now of the said Levi Croson and is a corner house in Ampthill next to Bedford Street a messuage or tenement formerly of the said Thomas Brace Stone since of the said John Rogers deceased and now of the said Joseph Mead Rogers standing and being on the east part thereof and which said messuage was purchased by John Rogers deceased of William Stone and includes that portion thereof now forming part of the shop adjoining and now in the occupation of the said George Rushbrooke.
