  • Scope and Content
Saw a large mob, many of whom were disguised, rolling a lighted tar barrel towards Mr Jones's house. Identified Lowin as being in the mob opposite Mr Spencer's house. She stopped against the 'Two Brewers.' She later saw Lowin, after he had been shot and heard him say that if he had known he would not have come near. From the time she lost sight of him until she saw him again 'he could not have gone down the Bedford Road, crossed by the path into Dunstable Road and down by Mr Jones's.'
