    Information of John Dean of Eaton Socon, labourer. Lost his waistcoat while ploughing at Honeydon. Information of Susannah, wife of William Dean of Staploe, and mother of John. Found the waistcoat a week later on the stall of Thomas Jarvis in St. Neots market, and took it home but did not show it to her son until the weekend because he lodged with Mr Boston at Honeydon. Information of Ann, wife of Thomas Jarvis of St. Neots. Bought the waistcoat from Thomas Browning for 2s 11 1/2d; he wanted the money to go to Eynesbury feast. Information of James Thornton, Little End, Eaton Socon. Saw Browning and another man with bundles in the field next to the one in which Topham was working, on the day of the theft.
