  • Title
    Examinations & Depositions: Evidence of Joseph Lincoln, Campton, who suspected a stranger of taking four pairs of worsted stockings which his wife had washed and hung on a hedge to dry. He immediately went to Shefford where he saw the stranger in the Crown, went to a magistrate for a search warrant and then accompanied by the constable went back to the Crown where the stockings were found in the possession of the stranger, Samuel Hart, Beeston Overy, Leicestershire.
