Scope and Content
Deposition of Samuel Preston, son of William Preston, farmer, Cardington, concerning QSR1815/166. He heard James Stephenson call out 'murder four times, he was frightened at it'. He waited about ten minutes 'with a ewe lambing' before approaching the three; James Stephenson told him to go and tell his wife that he was there. Woodcraft then let him go.
