Title
Black and white photograph labelled by depositor as ‘Wedding accessories of Silena Ellis formerly Silena White’. This appears to be incorrect as label photographed states ‘Part of the sheet that Prince Charles Stuart (called the Pretender) slept under in the year 1745 at the house of William Somers in the [Bro?law], Glasgow’. Material in foreground appears to have ‘Mary [?] Douglas’ written in ink. A Mary Douglas married RE White [abt 1830/1?]. Items arranged with letter partially visible in the background which appears to be addressed to ‘My dear Cousin Silena’, possibly a later copy.
