    [reciting: that (i) has lately purchased the Manor of Wilstead, for £5,176, and that it was conveyed to (i), (ii) and Richard Taverner, who are also bound to Thomas Bide, gentleman, in sum of £300, to Francis Wilsford and Thomas Este, gentleman, in £200, and (i) has lately asked (ii) and Richard Taverner to stand bound with him for other sums to pay the £5,176] (i) within a year is to acquit (ii) and Richard Taverner from the £500 principal and interest and any other sums contracted in next year by (i), (ii), and Richard Taverner if (i) fails to do so, (ii) and Richard Taverner may sell lands belonging to the manor to pay off the debts. if (i) dies before he has paid £2,260 to Elizabeth, Margaret and Anne Mordaunt, they may also sell any parts of the manor to pay off the same (ii) and Richard Taverner being released from these obligations and all costs and charges will convey to (i) their interest in the manor if (i) dies before the debts have been paid, when so much of the lands as is necessary to pay debts has been sold, (ii) and Richard Taverner will convey the remainder to persons named in the will of (i), then with the consent of Mr. John Cockayne, Mr. John Foster and John Ampes, they will distribute the remainder to wife and children of (i) the articles to be reviewed and corrected by counsel and to be written in pair of indentures if (i) dies before he has sold lands for full payment of the purchase, then (ii) and Richard Taverner shall sell other parcels for payment of £400 for which John Ampes stands bound as security for (i) Witnesses: Edward Radcliffe, Thomas Ridner, Francis Taverner junior 6 Feb 1649/50
