Copies of records and other resources aquired on microfiche from various individuals and other libraries and repositories because of the contents connection to Bedfordshire. In some cases the copy was made because the owner was unwilling at the time to deposit the originals with the archives service; some of these records, such as the Bedford Borough archives, have subsequently been deposited with the service and there should be a cross reference to the archive reference given on the catalogue entry.
