Shefford: River Hit to rear of Heronslee. Looking North across the River Hit towards the rear of houses in Heronslee, showing the public footpath. The river level at this date is very high, due the excessive rainfall recently experienced. (A couple of days prior to this photograph being taken, the river had come over the bank and onto the footpath.) The photograph has been taken from the bridge shown in Z1749/6/1/15.
