- Begins with conveyance dated 9th January 1900 [plan] reciting contract of sale by Sir R M Filmer to H Abraham of Smiths otherwise Ponds Farm, Leagrave (150 acres 1 rood, 18 perches) and schedule of deeds back to 18 November 1857 between 1) Dame Helen Filmer 2) Sir Edmund Filmer, 3) John Filmer Anstey and Henry Lucas Bean and 4) David Arthur Monro and Charles Vinall. [see X948/2/HAR/1/19 for details]. Other deeds of 1/2 March 1871, 12 Sept 1872, 20 Apr 1875, 11 Nov 1884, 4 Dec 1889, 9 Mar 1897, 24 Apr 1899, 14/15 Dec 1899. First schedule and plan identify the land in question as Backside Field, 60a 1r 39 poles number 177 on the first edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.

- 29 Sept 1926 Conveyance between 1) Henry Abraham and 2) Electrolux Limited. Reciting agreement of sale for property for £18779.5.0 being all those pieces or parcels of land formerly part of Ponds Farm and Egg field in the Village of Leagrave in the Parish of Luton...containing in the whole 102 acres 2 roods 10 perches. The first schedule and extracted plan refer only to 29 acres, 0r 38p of arable land numbered 160 and 162 on the 2nd edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of the parish. The 2nd schedule stipulates that the purchasers will erect and maintain fences, observe the 15 feet building line with regard to all the land fronting Oak Road and Dunstable Road and would not 'erect or allow to be erected or placed upon the land thereby conveyed any hut shed caravan house on wheels or other chattels intended to be used as a dwelling house or sleeping apartment nor any advertising hoarding booth show swing or roundabout under a penalty of £50'. 3rd schedule recites conveyance of 9th January of land at Leagrave known as Egg Field and conveyance of same date of Ponds Farm.
- 4 Oct 1933 Deed between 1) Electrolux Ltd, 2) Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of the Borough of Luton to allow 2) to lay a foul water sewer pipe at the yearly rend of one shilling. Plan showing proposed route of sewer between Dunstable and Oakley Roads and across private properies including that owned by Electrolux.
- 26 January 1935 Conveyance between 1) Electrolux Ltd and 2) Electrolux Estates Limited consideration £24,148.13.1d. 'All those six pieces or parcels of land formerly parts of Ponds Farm and Egg Field situated at Leagrave...containing 51 acres 33 poles and 13 square yards. Plan shows an area of land coloured pink and marked C B and F and including proposed town planning roads that would become Humberstone Road and Stoneygate/Roman Road. Land fronting Oak Road and some land fronting Dunstable Road is not included in the area coloured pink and two plots fronting Oak Road are marked as 'sold'.
- 6 September 1935 Agreement and grant between 1) James Boughton of Greylands Dunstable Road West Luton, builder 'the owner', 2) The Luton Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd 'the mortgagees' and 3) Electrolux Estates Limited 'the company'. 1) owner of land frontage of 128 feet to Dunstable Road West and depth of 170 ft as shown on plan. 3) owner of land and premises at the rear or side of property owned by 1). Reciting 'the Corporation of the Borough of Luton...might at some time construct at the expense of thw owner or require to be constructed a roadway leading over or across approximately that part of the land of the owner which was shown coloured pink and hatched black on the said plan and reciting that the company or its successors in title was or might be desirous of having possession of the land over or across which the said road was to be construction or made before the formation and construction of the said road to enable the company or its successors in title to have access to its land lying at the rear thereof from Dunstable Road West aforesaid and to lay storm water and other sewers and services under the said road.' Agreed that 1) should give vacant possession to 3) of the land over which the road was t be constructed immediately after the receipt by him of a notice in writing from 3).
- 30 October 1935 Conveyance between 1) Electrolux Estates Ltd and 2) Henry Richardson, plastering contractor and Charles Jeyes, master builder 'the purchasers'. Consideration £13,97012.6d 'all that piece or parcel of land situated lying an being between Dunstable Road West and Oakley Road...containing in area by recent admeasurement 4509.5 poles with uninterrupted right of way and passage across the road of width of 50 feet leading from Dunstable Road West to the property, 2) to hold in fee simple as joint tenants upon trust to sell... plan dated 27 September 1935 showing land with proposed town planning road No 5 [Humberstone Road] and Town Planning Road No 7 [Stoneygate Road] marked, adjoining owners named.
