    i) John, bishop of Peterborough as Master of Trinity College, Cambridge ii) Samuel Whitbread of Cardington, esquire consideration surrender of lease of 25 Jun 1773 - half part of the rectory of Shillington late in occupation of Thomas Parratt with all houses etc., gardens etc., land, arable lands etc., tithes and quitrents - close called the Park or Gold Mead containing 7 acres - one mead called Flagg Mead containing 2 acres - the Easter Book of the whole parish with all oblations and offerings (excepting those out of Holywell Bury and Shillington Bury) - all the tithes of Kings Wood known by the name of Great Park, Little Park, Pannel and Hanscomb Ley - all the tithe hay and grain and all the white tithes which renew within the limits and precincts of the several fields and grounds of Overstanden, Netherstanden, Shillington, Hollywell, Ickleford, Pirton and all other profits and commodities as were formerly received, except the court baron and profits of the same, great timber etc., growing on the premises demised saving the underwood growing in a close called Charcoal Wood; the advowson of the vicarage of Shillington term - 20 years from Annunciation (O.S.) last past rent - £23..9s..10d per annum and 17 quarters and 5 bushels of wheat and 23 quarters and 4 bushels of malt of barley, or money in lieu of said wheat and malt, at election of ii) at price of best wheat and malt in Cambridge market, market day before payment is due covenant to repair demised premises and half chancel of Shillington church, allowed great timber for repairs covenant to pay half part of salary, amounting to £9, to the vicar of Shillington covenant to have terrier made within 6 months, and to provide mansmeat and horsemeat and lodging for the master, vice-master, bursar, steward and surveyor of the college for 2 days and 3 nights when they come to the said rectory to hold courts or to make a survey covenant to pay £6..13s..4d per annum as an increase of pension for the vicar of Shillington not to alienate without licence; any transferee to surrender and renew lease within 3 months seal of i)
