    a) Lease. 1) William Peacock of Oakley, farmer and Edward Peacock of Ravensden, farmer. 2) Lettice Howkins of Thurleigh, widow. - Cottage or tenement formerly two cottages in Clapham with the close of pasture and a small cob or island separated from the said close by a small watercourse containing by admeasurement 2 roods 29 perches formerly in the occupation of Thomas Cradock and John Arnold then of John Skinner and now of John Bithrey and John Bazeley. Witness: George Day. b) Release. 1) William Peacock of Oakley, farmer and Edward Peacock of Ravensden, farmer. 2) William Peacock, Edward Peacock, Samuel Peacock of Kimbolton, watchmaker, John Peacock of Mears Ashby yeoman. 3) Lettice Howkins of Thurleigh, widow. Recites: - Will of Edward Peacock of Oakley dated 9th August 1821 leaving farm in Thurleigh called Tysoe's farm to his wife for life and then to be sold by his executors and trustees William and Edward Peacock for the benefit of his children. - Codicil to the will of Edward Peacock of Oakley dated 7 March 1825 giving the dwelling house, close, and land at Clapham to 1) to receive the rents and pay them to Elizabeth Hawkes for her life and after her decease on trust to sell in like manner to Tysoe's farm. Proceeds to be divided among children in equal portions. - Death of Edward Peacock 1st Feb 1827. - Death of Elizabeth Hawkes in November 1833. 1) have agreed to sell to 3) for the sum of £180. William Peacock, Edward Peacock, Samuel Peacock, John Peacock and Lettice Howkins are the only children of Edward Peacock deceased who were living at the time of the decease of Elizabeth Hawkes. Now 1) releases to 3) with consent of 2). Signed William Peacock, Edward Peacock, Samuel Peacock, John Peacock. Endorsed with receipt for £180. Witness George Day.
