reciting endorsement on articles of partnership of the business of a brewer carried on at Chiswell Street, London, allowing me to nominate my nephew Samuel Whitbread to be partner to £50,000 part of my share in said business, nephew Samuel Whitbread is bequeathed such share, and if he decline this partnership, he is to have £50,000
to my late wife's niece Harriet Graves O'Callaghan an annuity I have already secured to her by deed of 11 Dec 1840
to my dear wife Harriet all my household furniture and effects (except plate) in my house at Purfleet, Essex; and all my carriages, carriage harness and all my carriage and saddle horses, and all my linen and china, wheresoever; and all furniture and effects (except plate), in my wife's house in Lowndes Square, London; and such articles of furniture to the value of £1,000, and plate to the value of £500, as she may select, in my house at Southill; and my service of pewter at Southill: and 1,500 guineas. As my mother made her will under a misapprehension as to a claim she had on me, and made no provision for my 4 nieces, daughters of late Earl Waldegrave, I give to each of them £2,000
to my stepdaughter Jane Countess of Antrim the organ in my house at Southill, or if she prefer it, the value of it, to be ascertained by Mr. Joseph Walker, organ builder of Francis Street, Tottenham Court Road, London
to my trustees £14,000 at 4% to invest in the names of Jane Countess of Antrim and her husband Mark Earl of Antrim, the interest to be for said Jane exclusively during her life, and then to said Earl, and then (the first of their sons to reach the age of 21 excepted) to their children
to my trustees £10,000 at 4% in trust for Edward Codrington William Grey the son of my stepdaughter Mrs. Grey, and if he die before he is 21, to revert to residual estate
£10,000 to trustees to be settled on Maria Grey sister of Edward Codrington William Grey to provide her with an annuity for life, and after her death the principal to go to her children
£24,000 to trustees at 4% to settle an annuity on my step son Turner Arthur Macan, and then to his widow, and then to his children, and if no such children then principal to revert to residuary estate

executors to nominate trustees and settle on them the estates for term of 1000 years in trust to raise £40,000 at 4% in lieu of perpetual rentcharge secured by marriage settlement of nephew Samuel Whitbread and Lady Isabella Charlotte Pelham, in tail male, and tail general
any person succeeding to the estates is to take the surname Whitbread within 12 months
Powers for tenants for life to make provision for jointures and portions for younger children
my wife is to occupy the house gardens and pleasure grounds at Purfleet, if she wishes, during her life
