  • Scope and Content
Sending best wishes for your birthday on Tuesday. Have been to Harrold for a drive, Bill working late to make the best use of the weather, too wet to combine up to now ground too soft. Joe and family just returned from a week on the Broads. This summer reminds of 1903. Have bottled a few plums but they are not really ripe yet. Joyce has gone to Lincoln for the weekend ‘she goes occasionally & stays with her opposite number there. These clerks of the Records all know each other as they have meetings every now and then I don’t know what they find to talk about…’
