Got over their ‘do’ with the Stentons. Joyce, Mrs Varly & Stenton went to meeting in Bedford addressed by Prof Richardson. Tulips looking lovely. Mrs V archivist for Lincoln Diocese. Today Joyce is bring two more people out to lunch a Mr Pugh from the Public Record Office (I think) & his lady assistant. Life different to theirs but hasn’t been roses, roses all the way.
