Thanks for birthday presents. Birthday tea with Richard, Robin and Giles – tinned strawberries, Christmas cake and plenty of chocolate biscuits ‘rather an unusual tea part for a 70th birthday!’ Olive gone home for a week. [page 2 missing]. ? would do for dinner mats as they are embroidered in one corner. Thyra says you can get such lovely things out there – men come round with them…Glad got the Chrysanths. The bit about Joe on the radio was spontaneous. Min says what a difference it makes having a young parson but we don’t find it that way. Norma says this has been the easiest Christmas for many years because some of them are getting helpful…
