Nice to have better weather lately. Hope George and Robert have been able to get their harvest in. Bill has got all his in except some sugar beet seed. His drier has been kept busy – ‘It does so remind me of 1903 the year we were married it was such a bad harvest that year…Joyce is going your way tonight but not quite far enough – she is going to Milton Bryan – just this side of Woburn Park – I wish she would not arrange to give these talks this time of the year. I don’t like her being out when its foggy.’ Ike hasn’t been very well. Joe still in America. Miriam touring the constituency on her horse Belinda. Richard & Christopher have both started their ‘Call up’ one at Warwick & the other in Yorkshire.
