Hope Robert is better. Stephen here for the day from Roxton the rest of the family having gone to see Othello at Stratford on Avon. He brought his new bicycle. Spent two nights at Astrope. Practically every house in Puttenham & Long Marston has changed hands. Took Patricia Bell (Will Bell's daughter) home first to Bierton, she is Joyce’s head assistant now.’
