  • Scope and Content
Glad to hear Ike has got on so well and that his visit to Palterton will do him much good. Thankful if Ernest has been able to be of assistance to them. Edith & Tom going to Chris’s wedding at night and Elsie is a wedding guest and Edgar is to give her away and fancy Mim playing the wedding march. Charles and Maud to be married in about a month ‘I don’t envy her but if she don’t mind I don’t, that puts an end to the legacies, but I never expected any other nor did I wish it. I think it may be the best thing for him if anything can be.’ Didn’t want Ernest to bring his thick boots as thinks he looks comical in them.
