Scope and Content
Has not done much S Cleaning but that little helping has been enough. Now well but soon gets tired. So cold just now. Urges Bessie to come for a week if she can get away and then again in the summer. What does Joyce think of little Joe now & dear Roland too, he was so good, sorry not to see George hope his cough is better. Service to commemorate Fanshaw Middleton’s centenary [Thomas Fanshaw Middleton was vicar of Puttenham when, in 1813, he became 1st Bishop of Calcutta], church decorated etc and no one goes as a rule not above 10 or even that its such a fuss. Awkward to have visitors just then Janie F so unexpectedly. We have had Eva Blundall she has been staying with Connie. I think they are getting on nicely, he has improved his farm a good deal.
Ernest is coming home now for the summer months. Connie Grace is very ill, has been for some time, have had a specialist [Constance Grace dies June Qtr 1914]. Daisy is home but not to do anything for a month. Harrold is still away. Hopes Bess will be stronger soon.
