Letter from Emma Chapman to Bessie Godber (black edged with envelope). Thanks for letter, grateful for Ike trying to set things right a little with Mrs Cope. George Cope called on Wednesday. Farm seems to have been very dear rented. ‘How busy you must be just now and found time to send the piano.’ Hopes Bessie will like her new vicar. The butter was very nice.
