Letter from Emma Chapman to Bessie Godber, Tuesday Hopes Bess and little one still doing well. She has been getting on well and has been down stairs lately. First fine day since the children came. ‘Joyce is a wonderful child, so full of ideas and Romances & Rowland is a darling but Elsie says they all are for Georgie was very very good too. You must not expect them until sometime next week.’ Daisy not going in hospital for a few weeks for her operation (appendicitis).
