    Denis Farrer Hillersdon of Combe, Surrey, esquire Thomas Coleman of Ampthill, cutler -- the Green House on the Green in Elstow, with all hurdles, poles, boards and stall gear; and all tolls payable for cattle sold at the several fairs on 14 May and 5 November; and all tolls from hawkers and pedlars setting up stalls and selling goods at the several fairs on the said days or other days by virtue of any charter or prescription; tenant to keep the building in good and tenantable repair, at his own cost, rough timber and tiles being allowed by the landlord; witnesses. Richard Lovesey, David Willis his clerk 30 Mar 1773 endorsed: "I have agreed to rent a small tenement late George Robinson's at the rate of £2..10s per annum for the remaining term of the within-written lease" 1 Dec 1788
