28 Dec 1781: bond of John Wasse junior of Tempsford, esquire, to George Lewis Kohn of Aldgate, merchant, & Thomas Till of Surrey, clerk; and theirs to him, to observe award; reciting:-
24 Aug 1774: will of Dame Catherine Davies Alston, widow, & codicils 7 Apr & 2 May 1778; trustees William Inge and
Reverend Benjamin Warren of Bugbrook, Northamptonshire, & Reverend Mr. Burrough of Rugby:-
for son John, aged c.14; then son Charles; then daughter Hannah; remainder to John Wasse senior;
then daughter Frances, aged 18, living at Stamford, now wife of George Lewis Kohn,
and daughter Catherine, aged 17, now wife of Thomas Till
John Alston is now 21; daughters Frances & Catherine have made claims under marriage settlement
award: George Lewis Kohn and Thomas Till are to execute such deeds as shall be necessary to assure to John Wasse junior the manors,
messuages and lands late the inheritance of Dame Catherine Davies Alston in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire;
John Wasse is to pay to Kohn and Till £50 each and £200 each;
and to William Inge as trustee for Frances and Catherine £1,600; in all £2,100;
