[reciting: that because of the natural love and affection between (i) and Sir Wm. Russell Kt., uncle of (i) and to reserve the name and blood of the Earl and to settle the estates below in the posterity, name and blood of (i) according to the agreement of (i) with the Rt. Hon. Lady Anne Countess of Warwick, aunt of (i) according to the intent of Sr Fra. Russell late Lord Russell]
(i) to (ii) in trust:-
- the remainders and the reversions of the estates of Lady Lucie now Countess of Bedford, w. of (i) for her life, or upon any estates for life or in tail etc. of (i) or w. of or in
- the Manor of Melchbourne, Rectory of Melchbourne, Melchbourne Park
- Manor of Covington
- Manors of Haughes als Houghe Guelston als Gelston als Gelson and Brandon, Lincs
- Manor of Minster Lovell als Minster, Oxfordshire
so that the same may be conveyed and settled, but if (ii) refuse to convey, during the lives of Ann, Countess of Warwick and Oliver Lord St John of Bletsoe or survivor, or during the life/s of any person/s that the Countess shall appoint, the present grant to be void.
