    Lease of the Bell Inn at Markyate Street in Studham with all appurtenances, together with one acres of pasture land called The Wicke lying behind the inn. To be held from Michaelmas 1663 for 21 years for an annual rent of £19, to be paid at the house of William Marsh in Cornhill, London. Whenever the acre of land is ploughed or converted into tillage an extra £10 to be paid for that year. Provisions made for upkeep of the premises.
