- Scope and ContentProperty: messuage commonly known by the sign of the Bell at Studham with all associated property, occupied by Edward Ringssall. Recites agreement of the same date by which John Goodman and Godfrey Hall transferred the Bell Inn to Henry Maddocks [listed as a sale by Goodman and Hall to Maddock in 1754 abstract of title Z172/10 but missing from this bundle]. Provides that if Hall makes two payments to Maddocks at the dwelling house of Alexander Colston, scrivener of Bread Street, London of (1) £104 3s 4d on 7 October next, and (2) £108 13s 4d on 5 May 1644, then Maddocks is to transfer the Bell Inn to him as it was bought by Maddocks from John Goodman and Godfrey Hall by the deed mentioned above. In the meantime Hall is to receive the profits from the premises. Broken pendant seal.
