(i) John Smyth of Old Warden, gentleman & wife Sarah (ii) William Bartlett of Stepney, Middlesex, gentleman & Simon Scott of same, gentleman -- 1 tenement, 1 cottage with croft & pightle, Leafield, Stanhills & Churchills with way belonging (all pasture), meadow called the Bread, in the occupation of Richard Woodward, husbandman - tenement, close, pasture, called Quinces, the lane, in the occupation of James Hide, husbandman - the Quinces (arable) in the occupation of John Stanton, husbandman all in Old Warden -- parcel arable in Ickwell (Northill) in the occupation of George Mordaunt To John Smyth for life, then William Bartlett & Simon Scott in trust to pay - annuities of £40 to William, eldest son of John & Sarah Smith £12 each to daughters Sarah, Dorothy & Elizabeth & younger son, John Residue to Mother (Sarah) until heir of age (22), then £200 apiece (but annuity to continue through Mother to any daughter marrying without her consent) £200 portion for daughter Martha (wife of William Bartlett) at birth of 1st 2 children Witnesses.
