  • Scope and Content
    I enclose copies of the draft of the proposed scheme together with forms of notice for publication to satisfy the requirements of the law, and forms of declaration in respect of the exhibition of such notices. The notices should be exhibited as indication in the Notes overleaf for a period of 21 days and one copy of the draft scheme should be made available for public inspection, free of charge, at a suitable place in the locality indicated overleaf, during the publication of the notices. At the end of the period of publication of the notices will you please complete and return one declaration form for each individual notice. I shall be grateful if you will also carefully examine the draft Scheme and return one copy of it to me with your reply, indicating any clerical or other errors. The scheme may attract Inland Revenue stamp duty; this is shown in the notes overleaf. The cheque or postal order should be made payable to the Charity Commissioners and crossed “Bank of England”.The final scheme will be sent to you with a supply of free copies. The number of these copies will be one more than the number of trustees. If these will not be enough let me know how many additional copies you will require. A charge will probably have to be made for them. Notes on reverse of the page.
