Sorry to hear Lady Grantham has nah one of her severe colds; hopes she is improving. Comment about use of theatre box. Reference to book 'A Voyage to Abyssinia' by Henry Salt. It was not William of Wickham who drowned crossing the Medway, as the writer said when as Wrest; it was the warden of Wadham College who met this untimely death. Writer apologises for her mistake. Receives tolerable accounts of brother's health. Believes he has nearly concluded an agreement to take a house close to the writer. P.S. Princess Charlotte is much the better for Weymouth, and is to stay as long as she can bathe. On her way back she will spend 2 or 3 days with the Bishop of Salisbury at his palace.
