    Account book kept by Benjamin Jeffries on behalf of Elizabeth Tayler; beginning with the funeral expenses of Edward Tayler, and continuing as farm accounts (proceeeds of sale of butter and eggs; and payments for wages @ 6s a week, nails, hurdles, window tax, parish clerk's dues, "ale to finish harvest at 16d per gallon 17s 4d", " ½lb of tobacco for sheep-water", expenses are Biggleswade fair, maid's wages £2 per annum etc). Headed "An Account of Money Paid for the funeral Expences of the late Edw. Tayler deceased, and of Money Paid on account of carrying on the Business for Elizabeth Tayler" quarto volume, approx 80 leaves, lacking cover.
