Scope and Content
These manors were acquired from Lady Lucas by the late W F A Fletcher, and passed from him to Ida Mary Fletcher, and from her to MRs Kingsford. The lords of the manors appear in sucession as: Henry, Lord Ruthin, afterwards Earl, Marquis, then Duke of Kent; Phillip, Lord Viscount Royston and Jemima, Marchioness Grey; Amabel, Baroness Lucas; Thomas Phillip Weddell, Earl de Grey, Anne Florence, Countess Cowper; Francis Thomas de Grey, Earl Cowper; Auberon Thomas, Baron Lucas; Nan Ino, Baroness Lucas; W F A Fletcher; I M Fletcher.
