Letter to Sir Richard from Mr. Davison regarding: Bedford Municipal Charities.

With reference to your letter of the 28th ultimo I have now had an opportunity of consulting with the Area Officier of the National Assistance Board on this matter. With regard to The Paradine Charity he reports that Mr. R. C. Fensome of 45 Christie Road, Bedford , and Mr. A. Robinson of 1 Brace Street, Bedford, have died. And that Mr. Robert Riding of 26 Christie Road, Bedford, is working. The following names are suggested for adding to the waiting list:- Mr. J. E. Roberts, Queen Street. Mr. A. Hull, Pearcey Road, Mr. W. Neale Firbank Road and Mr. G. Stuart Hartington Street. Mr. H. J. Sherriff at present on the waiting list is now at the ‘Limes’, Biggleswade, and it would seem that he should come off the waiting list. With Regard to The Boteler Charity, Mr. A. Procter has died and it is suggested that Mrs. Margaret M. Fensome be added to the waiting list in respect of this charity. She is the widow of Mr. R. C. Fensome who was a recipient of the Paradine Charity.
