- Scope and ContentAs a consequence of this news, will be leaving Cheltenham earlier than planned. Emily and her children have been fortunate in escaping the month of August in Malta, where the sirocco has been prevalent and it has been very hot. Mrs [Julia] Bathhurst [wife of Thomas Seymour Bathurst], being very near her confinement, suffered much in the heat, but is now well again in cooler weather.
