With reference to your letter of the 20th May regarding the Paradine Charity. The area officer of the Officer of the National Assistance Board recommends that Mr. Robert Riding , aged 66 years, of 26 Christie Road, Bedford, should be appointed to fill this vacancy. There is a vacancy on the Ann Collins Charity. Mrs. Esther Bell, formerly of 44 St. Loyes Street, Bedford, is a patient in ‘The Limes’, Biggleswade, and from what I gather she is not likely to return to her former address. I shall be obliged if you will supply me with the name and address of the person to fill this vacancy, the first payment to be made in respect of the May 1949 distribution. I shall be glad if you will send me this week a cheque for £43. 6s. 8d. for the September quarter in respect of the Hawes and Dunham Charities.
