Letter from Emma Chapman to Bessie Godber. Thursday. Willie is looking better. Would like Joyce and George to come too if it was summer. Glad to hear George is getting on and will soon be home again. Hopes Bessie and Ike are well now. Wishes they could come to Puttenham for Xmas. Min has sent a postcard to say they will come on Christmas day but 'he changes his mind so quickly' Edgar has had trouble with his horses. Hope they got the goose. All the geese are sold and most gone. Christmas a busy time. Wonders if may have a wedding in the spring.
