- Scope and ContentRecites 1 February 1784: Agreement with his son John Walker of Eaton Socon, innkeeper, and Christopher Squire of Baldock, Hertfordshire, innkeeper; To give up to John on his marriage with Margaret Squire, spinster, daughter of Christopher, all his business as innkeeper and farmer at Eaton Socon and to assign to him all leases or terms in farm lands then rented and occupied, subject to the same rents and covenants, with all the premises, furniture (excluding sufficient to furnish his intended dwelling house), chattels and stock of all kinds used in carrying them on with liquors and grain growing and stored (excluding certain unthrashed grain and certain stores of liquor) Declares his resignation to John of the Cock Inn, and all effects as agreed to his wife (Elizabeth): The Saracen's Head in Eaton Socon, purchased of John Livett, now in occupation of testator, George Day, and William Hicks, with bar(n)s, stables etc. (subject to agreement recited) for her life, then (except the house where testator lives) to his son John to his daughter Susannah, so long as she remains unmarried; The house where testator now lives; on her death or marriage, to go to John to John: The Cock Inn in Eaton Socon where he now dwells with commons of pasture etc. to Susannah: £1000 to be paid by John out of the premises aforesaid: £500 on her marriage (or within 12 months after the death of testator's wife, Elizabeth), the second £500 within 12 months after the death of Elizabeth witnesses: Francis Rix, Levitt Hedding, John Park
