  • Scope and Content
Hopes Alexander has got a French master 'that you may be able to shorten your stay in Paris as much as it is consistent with your purpose in being there.' Elizabeth writes that her Father [Windmill Crompton] has come to London to see the doctor. Col. Pringle, Mr Lockart and Mr Fairholme came to an oyster party at the Marchmonts last week. Col. Pringle's daughter has just been inoculated, and Mrs Pringle is with child again. Miss Wauchope has been dangerously ill, but is now recovered and they are going to Maastrich. Hughie Scott seems well pleased with his school.
