    i) James Taylor, Great Staughton, Huntingdonshire, gentleman William Farrington, Biggleswade, leather cutter (devisees in trust for sale under will of Isaac Banks senior, late of Biggleswade, carpenter, deceased) ii) Robert Lindsell iii) William Thomas Chapman iv) Samuel Banks, Biggleswade, carpenter v) Thomas Daniel Chapman, 2 Cloisters, Inner Temple, gentleman vi) Jeremiah Banks, Biggleswade, carpenter reciting lease and release of 28 and 29 January 1817 [X721/1-2] and mortgage of 23 November 1839 [X721/3] reciting will of Isaac Banks dated 6 February 1836 and proved on 16 April 1840 (Prerogative Court of Canterbury) by which he devised all his freehold property in or near Shortmead Street, Biggleswade (including below mentioned property) to friends i), in trust for sale. said mortgage debt of £100 has been repaid but no reassignment of said mortgage has been made and is agreed that it shall be merged in the reversion thereof now in consideration of £300 paid by iv) to i) iii) surrenders to iv) at direction of i) - 3 tenements in occupation of iv), Loftus Richardson and George Francis - piece of ground adjoining near to the Wesleyan Chapel, Biggleswade [as in plan in margin] to use of Samuel Banks or v) as trustee for him deeds (as in schedule) have been delivered to vi) as largest purchaser in value, and he covenants to produce them schedule X732/1-2 and X721/3 signatures of all except Lindsell and Thomas Daniel Chapman endorsed receipt witness: Edmund Stanton 10 Aug 1840
