Letter from Elizabeth Hume-Campbell (Lady Marchmont) to son Alexander Hume-Campbell, Lord Polwarth. Consulted Mr Fordyce on the subject of Alexander's two letters. Fordyce wished to take the opinion of Sir William Duncan. They both 'approve greatly of Mr Tissot's direction, and of clear opinion that it will be proper to drink the Spa water and that we should meet you there.'
