    Black and white photographs prepared in 1997 from Photographic Unit negatives made in 1969 (PU126/1969) of a volume of maps drawn by John Franklin for the Right Honourable Robert Earl Granville. The photographs are roughly half the size of the originals which measured 51 x 72cm at a scale of 1:3168. Each sheet is lettered in sequence and gives field names as well as showing buildings in block, trees and occupiers of adjoining plots. The accompanying reference keys give the acreages of the closes, indicating whether arable, pasture or woodland, together with total acreage of the property. A composite version of the maps with sheets 1-7 and 10-12 amalgamated is in the searchroom map tank. 1. Sheet A: Plan of the Mansion House Land Gardens etc belonging to the Right Honourable Robt. Earl Granville.....showing the layout of Haynes Park, garden and menagerie and including a minute sketch of Haynes Church, Wilstead Wood and St Macuta's, Wilstead are also shown. 2. Sheet B: Mr Pryer's farm in the parish and manor of Hawns. Also shows Haynes Park House. 3. Sheet C: Mrs Dunham's farm in the parish of Hawns and Wilhamstead. Indicates farm buildings on the present site of Wrest Park Cottage. 4. Sheet D: Farrs Farm in the parish of Wilstead. The farm buildings are on the site of the present Firtree Hill Farm. 5. Sheet E: Mr How's Farm in the parish and manor of Hawns. The farm buildings are on the site of the present St Jude's Farm. 6. Sheet F: Trustram King's Farm in the parish and manor of Hawns. the farm buildings are on the site of the present Church Farm. 7. Sheet H: Horn's Farm in the parish of Hawns and Clophill. Shows a single field south of Oxleys Wood divided by the Haynes and Clophill parish boundary. 8. Sheet I: John Dunham's farm in the parish of Hawns. The farm buildings are on the present sites of Hill and Standalone farms. Haynes Green situated at North Wood end is also shown. 9. Sheet K (there is no sheet J): W. Wagstaff's Farm in the parish of Hawns, Wilhamstead & Cardington. The farm buildings are on the site of the present Northwood End Farm, Haynes. 10. Sheet L: Mr Crane's Farm in the parish of Wilhamstead. Shows farm buildings south of Wilstead Green. 12. Sheet M: Mr Holm's Farm in the parish of Wilhamstead. the farm buildings are on the present site of Manor Farm.
