    “I commend my soul ...” to eldest daughter Ann Seare of Leighton Buzzard, widow, a freehold messuage on the South side of the High Street, Leighton Buzzard, fronting North into the marketplace; in own occupation; a cottage fronting West into the yard, in occupation of Sarah Deane and Jane [blank], lately the estate of Henry Langley, gentleman, deceased, and purchased by Robert Wheeler of Daniel Diamond and wife Hannah (granddaughter and heir of Henry Langley) to 2nd daughter Patience Fidler (wife of James Fidler of Oxford, barber) £70; to her children Charles, Ann, James, £10 each; also to Patience ½ late wife’s wearing apparel. 2 pairs good sheets, 2 large silver spoons to eldest son Robert Wheeler of Buckingham, basket-maker, estate in Tingewick, leased from New College; and £20; also “one load of white rods containing 80 bolts if I happen to have so many by me at my decease”, and all working tools (to be shared with grandson Robert), also wearing apparel, 2 pairs good sheets to grandchildren Robert, Thomas, John, Ann, James and Sarah Wheeler, children of Robert, £10 each; Ann, Thomas, children of son, Thomas, £10 each (if not brought up Quakers); Ann and Penelope, children of Ann Seare, £10 each; to brother Isaac of Aylesbury, basket-maker, 2 volumes of Reverend Dr Stackhouse’s history of the Holy Bible with cuts to poor of Leighton, 15s worth of bread residue to daughter Ann witnesses: Charles Pyne, B Pyne, William Hart servant to Mr Pyne
