Letter from Thomas Cockburn to Alexander Hume-Campbell, 1st Baron Hume of Berwick. Sent from Edinburgh. Much obliged for invitation and happy at prospect of seeing his Lordship and Lady 'Bell'. Mr Hay of Mordington and the writer's son John are coming to London with the writer, and will be in haste to get the young man provided to sail with the fleet; Mr Hay has a son 'going a cadet'. Expects to get to London on Wednesday 16th.
