Congratulates his Lordship and Lady Amabel on their ‘new relation’ Daughter Charlotte is expecting another child. Pleased that Mr Barker has got 2 curacies in a county that is agreeable to him. Together they will be as good as a little Living to him, besides the advantage of a parsonage house without the expense of furniture and taxes. General comments about the weather and crops. Mention of the capture of East and West Indian fleets.
