- Scope and ContentThe individuals, from left to right, are Miss Campbell (Head of Science Staff), G.P. Allen (Architect), Miss K. Westaway (Headmistress), G.H. Barford (Mayor), The Duchess of Atholl (Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education), Reverend C.F. Farrar and G.C. Walker (Governor). Mr Chrystal has noted that the Duchess opened the building officially with a silver key in the presence of the Mayor in full regalia, the Governor in top hat and tails; the staff in academic dress and Miss Westaway in scarlet doctor's attire.
